daylight & thermal comfort assessment

The task involves forming a group of five people and selecting a type of house from a list. Each member chooses one space with issues related to daylighting and thermal comfort. Sun Path charts and Psychometric charts are to be obtained, along with climatic data. Data collection involves recording Lux readings three times a day and temperature five times a day, with windows open during readings. Findings are to be tabulated on floor layouts or superposed graphs. Ideas for passive design interventions for daylighting and thermal comfort improvement are to be proposed, with "before" and "after" photographs and relevant sketches. Drawings including a location plan, floor plans, elevations, and section drawings are required, all to be in appropriate scale. Overall, the task aims to identify issues with daylighting and thermal comfort, collect data, propose passive design solutions, and present findings and ideas through tabulated data, photographs, sketches, and drawings.
